Is this the kind of thing we should use to help with the passage of information, share ideas and coordinate our activity.
Lots of additional functionality is available with this tool (it's free if we accept banner ads, otherwise its £4 a month - for that I can live with the odd advert!).
We can lock down areas by permission - strangers, members, moderators etc as we wish
We can add shoutbox, gallery, calendar, RSS newsfeeds ... you name it we could probably do it
Seemingly endless customization options for colour scheme, layout etc - but I opted to keep it simple atm
Auto alert is possible, so there is no need to keep checking the forum ... you can set it up to inform you, straight into your registered email account, when new content is added.
What say you?
